[UPDATED MARCH 16th Re: Turn Based Crashes]
The game is out and we cant believe the response! We cant thank you guys enough.
Just a small FAQ based on some of the initial feedback:
1 – iCloud is working but only runs in the background. It may take a minute and if it says it failed, just wait and try again.
2 – Username Challenges on Android – This feature is coming very soon! We didnt have time to perfect it before the iOS launch and wanted to make sure Android users had a game to play the same day. Practice up against random people then when the challenge mode hits you will be able to show off how good you are!
3 – More courses are coming! If you are a fan of Indie Games you will love the designs! That is all I can say for now 
4 – Bug with Jail Broken Devices. If your Turn Based games are crashing the app, try run the device in Safe Mode. This should fix it for now until we issues a patch.

I’ve tried syncing with iCloud multiple times throughout the day and still no luck. I always get “Unable to sync with iCloud!”. After reading this post I checked under “Settings / iCloud / Manage iCloud” to see if SSG2 was in there but it’s not. Kinda sucks because I’d really like my settings to sync between iPad and iPhone :/
Am I the only one who has issues with Turn Based multi on the iPhone? I’ve started 3 different games with random people. It allows me to play the first hole, but if I choose to “watch hole 1″ or play the next round on all three of the games I have opened, it crashes. I tried restarting my phone but no luck. I guess I’m going to try redownloading. If this happens to anyone else, speak up please!
Same thing happened to me for a few opponents and I had to quit a bunch of matches and be branded a “Loser”. Now I have to continually reject matches from them to avoid said game crashes. IT SUCKS!
Well when I got home, I used my other iPhone to see if it would work on that one and it did. All the games that would crash on my one iPhone didn’t on the other…so it’s something with my device. No clue what it could be. Both of my devices ae jailbroken, the one iPhone that worked is using an older jailbreak. I am not using a pirated version of the game, but I wish I knew what was conflicting with it to make it unable to continue games. Hopefully a patch fixes whatever the problem may be.

Well it happened to me on both my iPhone and iPad both of which aren’t Jailbroken so I guess that rules that out.

Anyway, I just put my one phone that isn’t working, into “Safe Mode” (it basically disables everything jailbroken), and tried it from there….and it works. So my issue seems to be some tweak or something I have installed that is causing trouble. Good for me, but bad news for you. I don’t know what the problem could be for you then if you’re not jailbroken.
How do u get your progress on iPhone to sync with ipad??? Ipad thinks I’ve never played this game????? Help
Dude I can’t get the game it’s not even showing up in google play what do I have to do to get it man I’ve been waiting for so long and I got all my friends on it and I’m the only one who doesn’t have it now what’s up
Google Play only shows compatible games. SSG2 requires a newer version of Android OS so upgrade your system and it will show up.
Yea iCloud syncing not working here either. Only the gamecenter achievements seem to carry over from ipad to iPhone. Hitting the sync to iCloud button in settings menu just gives me an error message on both devices.
Super awesome game though.
Pretty bummed that I cant play other people I know that run IOS, Im running Android. Multiplayer, yes it is, with complete strangers. There needs to be a way to search usernames from both platforms.
Is there a way to change the user or username for multiplayer? I used my gamecenter user the first time I played. Then changed the username in gamecenter but the username did not change in SSG2

Yeah My achievements sync to other device.. but other device says I have no Bux… where I have like 100 on on iPhone? am I doing something wrong.?

I just checked my GC friend stats and “nathanchow”has got a -10 which is a gold star and therefore what I’d call beaten. My best so far after 3 attempts is +19! Ouch!
I finally got there and ran out of powerups at hole 7. It’s a sick course. I like the increased difficulty and will eventually get it.
I got a -25 and my very next attempt I got a -28!
If you’re going for clean ball, use the Toque Hat. Absolutely essential.
This game is not showing up in my Kindle Fire app store.. can someone tell me when it will be available there, or if I can get it another way on this device? Thanks!
Played a few holes yesterday, no prob. Today game crashes when i open it.
Purchased 50 golf bucks for 99 cents and it gave me 100 golf bucks instead. A possible bug, unless there is a bonus for first buy.

Happy to know username challenges are coming. Was looking for it everywhere after getting my friends to get the game. Any idea on when that will become available?

This happens on Jail broken devices. You need to run it in Safe Mode and it should work or else it doesnt save your games properly.

Will this be coming to Amazon’s marketplace? My absolute favorite game on the Kindle.
I am loving the game so far, and have gifted it to two friend and my girlfriend because I want to play them online. However, I am having a problem with the game’s push notifications not showing up on my iPhone 5 (non-jail broken iOS 6.1.2). They show up fine on my iPad mini (non-jail broken iOS 6.1.2). The iCloud syncing is working well between the devices, but no proper push notifications on my primary mobile device is a real downer. I checked the Push notification settings both in game and in my iPhone’s settings, and everything is enabled. I then deleted and reinstalled the game, but the notifications still do not show up. Is this a bug in the software? Can this be fixed in any way?
This game should be free. Super janky and not worth spending any money on.

I have mixed feelings about this game. 20 courses is pretty weak especially when you promote “20 new courses”. Your marketing made it seems like we’d see most of the old courses with a twist and then 20 new courses.
I had all 20 gold stars within two days and it seems like I won’t ever get the last 4 hats unless I buy a ton of golf bux or play for thousands of hours. What a scheme the hat lottery is. I’d rather buy a game I can beat completely for $9.99 instead of being tricked into buying bux.
And I’m not a big fun of the physics. SSG1 had better dynamics and a much favorable power meter. The balls just arent bouncing right on the greens.
Don’t get me wrong. Stickman Golf is my favorite series but in my opinion it could be way better.

Could not agree more with Jason S above. The game is impossible to beat completely unless you buy extra bux for 9.99. I don’t appreciate buying a game that cannot be beaten unless i give you more money.

Couple points to your concerns. First off SSG1 shipped with only 8 new courses and a handful of ones from the original game Stick Golf. Since we added the new mechanics to some of the old levels, we did promote them as new, however if it was misleading then that was a mistake on our part. We will have more classics and new courses coming but felt having double the original for launch was a good start.
As per the last few hats, that is something we are working on. We didnt want everything to be unlocked too quickly so the rare hats by design are harder to get. However due to the random nature of the lottery, this is not the case for all. I have see some players get lucky and unlock the rare hats rather fast and hardly spend any buxs on completing their collection. I believe one player paid as low as 14 for their final hat. However we do agree that the balance is not perfect when it comes to just the rare hats and will be adjusting how their rarity affects the cost of bux in an upcoming update.
Lastly though it may seem like it, the physics and core fundamentals of the game have actually not changed. The power meter, aiming arrows, physics, putting etc are all exactly the same as SSG1. The only thing that is different is the animations are running at a higher FPS so it might seem like the ball is traveling differently, but in fact it is just less choppy.

I have an older phone (a Droidx running Android 2.3.4) and the game crashes randomly. Are there some hardware/software requirements the game should check for before it installs itself?
The iCloud sync feature doesn’t work for me. On my iPad I go to Settings then click Sync and a message pops up saying “iCloud sync successful.” Then I open it up on my iPhone and click the Sync button and again get the “iCloud sync successful” message. However, the data is not synced. Am I doing something wrong? Please help because I would absolutely love the game otherwise.

Im having this exact problem. My hats synced, but not my progress. My level doest sync, so i cant do the later courses.

I’d love to see a response to this as well. I started the game on my ipad. I try to sync onto my phone and it says it is successful but I only see my achievements. Any update noodlecake?
It is something we are looking into. The issue is for most people iCloud works seamlessly, so identifying why it doesnt for a small group is challenging. It is something we are aware of and working on however.
Just got a -11 on impossible land! Now I have everything gold and I have collected all of the bux for each level.
2 problems I have with the game:
1. I have 5 hats left to buy, when I put 191 bux into the machine, I only get 94.3% chance of a new hat. That is ridiculously over priced. There isn’t enough money available in the game. If I want to get all of the hats I probably have to spend over 1000 more bux…
2. The level progression is not fast enough. I had gold stars on all the before levels and yet I was not high enough to unlock the next level pack.
Again, this is a FLAW in the game. Game designers trying to scam their way into more money instead of just creating a good game.

Only one issue, how come I can’t just invite someone to play in a turn based match? Why make me spam my entire game center friends list. It makes it hard to just invite someone directly.
You can challenge directly. Just make sure you and your friend log in to the turn based via the GC option. If they dont show up in the list try restarting the app. Sometimes the lists dont update super fast and a fresh restart will always pull down the new info.
Love the game so far! One small question… Why can’t we choose our ball color in race mode? Would love to be able to use the new ball colors since I usually only race against 2-3 other people. Thanks!
Anyone have any issues completing the last achievement? (Grasslands hole 4 without touching green) I seem to be doing it using the air brakes but it doesn’t register. Possible bug? Just curious.
It is a tough one. Any tiny little bump of the edge will register a green hit.
I got it with airbrakes and it didn’t give me the achievement either. Then I did it without power-ups and it worked. Must have to do it clean.
Is your game sexist? Do you have a office full of men? Did anyone ever say, Hey why don’t we create a girl character? And, don’t give me that Unisex character garbage.

I played all weekend and I noticed that in order to obtain level 60. You will need to have earned 4-6 million xp points (of course that is an estimate). Or have have played 6000 rounds. In acual time you are probably talking about 600 hours of game play. Which means you would need to play 6 hours a day for 100 days straight. Wow, what a “Almost Impossible” achievement. I guess my question is does it stop at 60, or does it keep going?
Why isnt there pass and play multiplayer?
They say it’s coming soon to android, but I’d like to know how soon, or at least an expected tim frame…IOS is available i think, but they didn’t finish it for android yet.
After reinstalling on my tablet I am not allowed to use my Useername again. Says its allready taken.
Cant use the username ( other) I use on my phone either.

I have completed all courses in Tours 1, 2 and 3. How do i activate Tour 4. It is still locked and says needs level 9. What does that mean? How do i get to Level 9?

Thanks! Your character has a level and you earn XP at the end of the levels to put towards it. If you go to your profile page you should be able to see your current level. Since you are most likely under level 9, you need to go earn some more XP to level up to unlock the next courses.
Something needs to be done about the multi-player mode for Android. Right now I have 10 games going and every single one of my opponents has played one hole and left. Waiting hours and hours for people to show up to play one hole and leave is ridiculous.
I’m having the same problem on iOS. I think there is currently a time limit but its not nearly short enough. It should be 24hrs, 48 at a stretch.
hi, I’m having trouble with the bux on the second portal its says i have 9/10 but i have been trought it on my tablet and i have all 10 and wont give me my bux bonus????

When will there be an update with new content? I have earned must achievement but finding it difficult to earn the last 3 hats I need. I have collected every floating buck in all the maps.
no race mode in multiplayer for android? BOO!!! Please release this feature, or at least let people know to have a different expectation from one platform to the next.

I have been playing on my droid phone for the last few days and just installed the app on my kindle fire. How do I get my game progress to sync across devices? I also tried to play multiplayer and it will not allow me to use my existing name on my kindle. It tells me my username is already taken

Can someone explain the “Green With Envy” achievement? According to a youtube video floating around, it can be done with powerups (laser then air brakes). However, strictly in the game it says to complete the hole WITHOUT power ups; which I beleive I have done several times. Finally, if I go onto game centre it says to just complete the achievement and that powerups are allowed. There was evidently an update at some point which changed the rules of the achievement; can anyone, possibly Noodlecake elaborate?
The original achievement was to be done without power ups. However it was accidentally launched with the power up restriction taken out. This was fixed in a update after a few guides on how to get it surfaced using power ups. As for the GC description, that was also a mistake on our part to not change it in their either after we updated in the in game one. It can be done without powerups, you just have to be perfect and not touch anything on the way down.
Had the game on my HTC evo and was pretty far along. Updated to a galaxy s4 and had to start all over. Is there a way to transfer the saved game data from my previous phone to my new one so my game will be back to where it was?
