Noodlecake is expanding in the new year, and we need people who are smart and get things done.

Because Noodlecake is a small company, we are all wear different hats day to day.  A good candidate will enjoy learning new things and easily become comfortable with new programming languages and tools.  We believe that better software gets written when developers truly understand the vision of our creative directors and clients, and that means working closely with them and taking a personal investment in the work.

Wanted: Programmers (Web, Mobile Device and Game Development)

We develop on Macs and generally deploy to FreeBSD or CentOS, so a (relative) mastery of *nix isn’t a must, but would be appreciated.  We use Python for backend web development, particularly with Django and have some pretty slick libraries ready to go.  For game development, we use cocos2d-x, a portable C++ port of cocos2d-iphone.  A deep knowledge of C and experience developing with C++ / ObjC and gdb would be a definite asset.

As we all know, these technical requirements are flexible.  What we’re most interested in is your desire to learn new things and ship high quality code.  The game industry and our clients give us no end of the kind of interesting problems we love to work on.  We want you to explore your creative side.  Because we develop our own IP internally, we can help bring your ideas to reality.

So tell us about yourself!
